Daybreak

Even though the Nike Daybreak was first released in 1979, it first rose to fame after the 1984 Olympics after being worn by Joan Benoit Samuelson in her winning race. Inspired by iconic models such as the Nike Tailwind 79, the streamlined running silhouette was then rereleased within a special pack in 2019 in time for its 40th anniversary. The Daybreak model comes crafted from a range of materials including leather, mesh, nylon and suede. The EVA foam midsole underfoot delivers lightweight comfort and the studded waffle outsole provides effective grip. A mix of Swoosh detailing and signature Nike branding adds extra decoration, while padding in the collar offers support for the ankle.

Daybreak sneakers for everyone

Available in a variety of styles for both men and women, the Nike Daybreak shoes will complement almost every day-to-day look. Made with visible topstitching and branded heel tabs, the Daybreak sneakers are laced with retro appeal. Some of the modern editions of the Daybreaks contain recycled materials such as Nike’s eco-friendly Grind technology. The shoe’s classic lacing system means that the low-top trainer will fit perfectly to your foot. As popular on the streets as they are on the tracks, the Nike Daybreak sneaker is the perfect addition to any growing collection.
