The Story Behind The Dunk
Originally tailored towards college basketball teams, the Nike Dunk was first released back in 1985. Starring in the brand’s “Be True To Your School” campaign, the Dunk soon became a favourite among professional basketball players. Made from durable materials and offering streamlined aesthetics, the Nike Dunk then went on to become a streetwear staple.
Available in a variety of colourways to suit all tastes in trainers, the success of the Nike Dunk rivalled silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 1 and Air Force 1 designs. Having also provided the base for many exciting collaborations, the Dunk has undergone a handful of updates since its inception and first got the Off-White treatment in 2019.
