Periodically we will offer our customers the chance to engage with surveys. These will vary in topic, but all share the collective purpose of understanding more about our customers and their experience with Laced. Often they are related to collecting feedback, to improve Laced, or to learn more about products and shopping preferences. Before entering a survey the specific purpose will be outlined, the respondent can choose whether they would like to participate. Participation is optional and consent can be withdrawn at any time, for any reason, by emailing research@laced.com
All market research data captured in our surveys are anonymised, unless stated otherwise, prior to collection, and will be held securely. Anonymised data may be aggregated for analysis and used for profiling purposes, this is to help us better understand customer preferences and improve our service.
Depending on the topic, in addition to the questions related to the subject of each individual survey, we may also ask you to share information such as your email address, age, gender, household income and country of residence. We collect this data to give additional context to the responses that our customers give and, in turn, help us better understand our customers, in order to provide the best service. To enter into one of our prize draws we will ask you to provide the email address that is associated with your Laced account, this is to enable us to add credit to your account if you are selected as a winner. We will not contact you for any other purpose.
The joint data controllers for any personal data we hold about you are Laced Europe Trading B.V., a company with limited liability registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under no. 89431960And Laced Europe Ltd t/a Laced of 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR, a marketplace for buyers and sellers of authentic footwear. You may treat Laced Europe Ltd as your primary point of contact for any questions or issues related to the processing of your personal data. The privacy notice sets out the details of any of your personal information that may be processed by Laced.
Your name and any personal data identifying you will be kept confidential and your comments will only be used for business purposes to improve the website and service. If you supply such information, we are legally bound by the Data Protection Act 2018 to ensure that such information is only used for the purpose for which it was requested and also to ensure that the data is held securely. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is consent and by participating in the survey, and submitting your personal data, you hereby give your consent for the data to be held and processed for the purposes of this study.
Your information may be disclosed to authorised third parties for the purposes of evaluation. Laced will attempt to contact the provisional winner by email up to two times. If the provisional winner fails to respond to the second email within 5 working days, the prize will be forfeited and we will be entitled to select another provisional winner.
Laced will make available information that indicates that a valid draw took place. To comply with this obligation Laced will send the surname and country of prize winners to anyone who emails research@laced.com within one month after the closing date of the draw in question. If you object to any or all of your surname or country being published or made available, please contact Laced at research@laced.com. In such circumstances, Laced must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
