Boasting a global appeal the Adidas Superstar x CLOT Edison Chen Black signifies yet another excellent collaboration between Edison Chen and Kevin Poon’s Hong Kong-based brand CLOT and Adidas. This time, they are returning to shake up the universally renowned Adidas Superstar silhouette and in the process hope to continue to make good on their promise to bridge the cultural gap between East and West. Featuring an upper made from black premium leather that creates a polished look not too dissimilar to an Oxford shoe. While the toe box has received a similarly noticeable upgrade, now arriving complete with hand-stitched ridges for an improved luxe finish. As is customary, the sidewall 3-stripes remain in crisp white and cobranding finds its way onto the tongue and sock liner. The real departure from the norm comes by way of the leather tassels dressing the laces for that additional formality. While underfoot a plush EVA foam midsole and a bold upsized ripple sole completely change the silhouette's aesthetic.
