Using Chrisitian Tresser’s Japanese Bullet Train inspired Air Max 97 silhouette as a solid foundation to build upon, this iteration of the slick and stealthy runner includes a mix of synthetic, leather and mesh combining in perfect fusion, while the almost jarringly different texture is applied to the sidewall mudguards via thick suede elements. Painted predominantly in a sail colourway from heel to toe, the design is given a pop of contrast through the use of blue laces, and red accents in the forms of repeated Nike script text across the wavy side panels, mini Swoosh logo on the quarter panels, and the visible full-length Air midsole beneath the feet.
